How do I make a complaint about my therapist?
At Expat Therapy 4U we aim to ensure that:
- Making a complaint is as easy as possible
- We treat your complaint seriously
- We deal with your complaint promptly and in confidence
- We learn from complaints and use them to review and improve our platform
In respect of a complaint regards a therapist, your therapist will be directly responsible for resolving your complaint as outlined in our complaints procedure in their agreement with us and will endeavour to ensure you are satisfied with the outcome. Therefore, we advise you to initially discuss any concern you have informally, directly with your therapist at your next appointment or via email.
Alternatively, you can contact us using the Contact Form on the platform and we will forward your complaint directly to your therapist, who will be responding to your complaint within 24 hours from receipt.
To ensure the timely resolution of complaints that arise in connection with therapy services, your therapist will make all efforts to reach a resolution to any complaints within 5 working days from receipt, whether the complaint was received directly from you or through Expat Therapy 4U Platform.
Any complaint that we receive regards any of our therapists will be treated as a serious issue and may well affect the future relationship we have with that therapist. Any behaviour that is deemed unprofessional, unethical and potentially damaging to the reputation of Expat Therapy 4U, and other therapists working with us, will result in termination of that relationship with Expat Therapy 4U.
